This network of community schools serves more than 150 schools in nine states. These schools are operated by private agencies and are funded partially through federal funds.

The National Center for Learning Disabilities also provides information on finding after school care for special needs children. Other organizations provide a wide range of resources to assist teachers and parents of special needs children who want to find a local after school program.
